Frequently asked questions..
4)
Is there a standard procedure I am required to follow?
Yes, however procedures are simple. Inbloom have tested and proven systems in
place for diversified matters such as reporting, insurance,
accounting practices, purchasing, hiring and training new staff,
cost control, advertising, merchandising and other essential
functions which contribute to the efficient operation of your retail
flower shop.
5)
What other items does an Inbloom shop sell?
Inbloom Franchisees sell the freshest and finest blooms (direct from our flower farm),
exotic, tropical blooms and foliage, (from our extensive range of
specialised growers) plants (green and flowering), helium and air
balloons, gift cards, vases and other associated floral lines.
6)
Do I have to be a florist?
No. Our Franchisees come from many and varied backgrounds. Those without florist
experience are often more able to adapt to the Inbloom system more
readily, as they do not have any pre-conceived ideas about the
business. However, Franchisees who are Florists, benefit greatly
from the tested and proven management and operational systems in
place.
7)
What training will I receive?
A minimum period of one (1) month is spent training you to become an Inbloom Franchisee.
The training is comprehensive and largely conducted in store with a
fully experienced trainer.
8)
What experience do I need to operate an Inbloom store?
The primary qualifications are financial stability and capability, combined with
a demonstrated work ethic and desire to succeed. These are the key
fundamental attributes required in order to make a successful
Franchise. However, if you are a fully trained Florist, you have the
added advantage of operating within a tested and proven system, with
refined operational and management systems, enabling you, not only
to be totally hands on, but be assisted in all aspects of daily
operations, thus ensuring proper performance levels and quality
standards.
9)
Can I choose my own site?
Selection of a site is very important. Inbloom thoroughly examines such items as foot
traffic, visibility, population density and income, lease costs, the
proximity of major residential areas and other major retail
businesses. Inbloom general secures the best location and negotiates
the lease terms. Franchise candidates are welcome to suggest
locations for consideration.
10)
What is the ideal size for an Inbloom store?
Inbloom is a very flexible concept and can operate efficiently in a wide range of
sizes and configurations, although, through experience we have
ascertained, that a small kiosk, of approximately 15- 25 square
metres is an ideal size.
